Fort Mandan celebrates the season with 7th Annual Christmas Tea

Posted on 12/5/2012

Washburn, N.D. - The Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation is inviting people to celebrate the Christmas season with their annual Christmas Tea event on Saturday, Dec. 8. Attendees will enjoy tea from Steep Me a Cup of Tea  along with traditional English tea treats. The Christmas Tea will also feature storytelling and photos with Mrs. Claus, and live music.

"The Christmas Tea is a great opportunity for people to relax and just enjoy the season," said Foundation vice president Wendy Spencer. "Between tea and treats, Mrs. Claus and live music, this really is an event the whole family can enjoy."

Sittings for the Christmas Tea are available at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. but seating is limited so participants must RSVP. You can RSVP at www.fortmandan.com or by calling Nicolette at 701-462-8535.

Rather than an admission fee, participants are asked to bring donations for the McLean Family Resource Center. The greatest needs are non-perishable food items and personal care products like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shaving cream, etc.
