Donations are the life-blood of the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation, and your support is appreciated!

Please review our donation options to see how your generosity can support the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation.

General Donations

General donations provide operating support for the Foundation, to be used in the area of greatest need. Contributions of any amount are appreciated.

With an annual gift of $50 or more, you will become a member of our organization. Foundation membership benefits include free admission to the Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan, Museum Store discounts, subscription to our quarterly newsletter, and invitations to member-only events throughout the year.

Memorial Gift

Memorials gifts are a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one or friend who has died, or to honor someone on a special occasion, such as an anniversary or birthday. All memorials and honor gifts are published in our quarterly newsletter and printed in the Memorial Book at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. Click here to donate.

To ensure sustainability, we have developed an endowment trust fund, with only interest and earnings used to support the Foundation's work. Please contact President David Borlaug to visit about how you may support the endowment through a special gift or planning giving in your estate. If you pay North Dakota state taxes, there are added benefits for you by supporting our endowment. Contact your tax advisor for more information.

Gary Anderson Fort Mandan Fund

Gary Anderson spent 14 years with the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation delivering tours of Fort Mandan to the public. Following his death in 2011, the Gary Anderson Fort Mandan Fund was created to carry on the work to which he committed much of his life. The fund is used for such things as interpretive programming, staff training, historical research, and furnishing Fort Mandan - the place that Gary loved so much. Click here to donate.

Other Opportunities

In addition to the opportunities above, we also accept gifts of securities, real estate, and corporate and foundation support.
